And Just Like That, I'm a Fiancée (plus face reveal!)

Hey divas!! I have a little life update that I wasn't expecting to share today: I'M ENGAGED!

Honestly, I'm still overwhelmed and have approximately a million thoughts running around in my brain, so I don't have an in-depth blog post to share just yet. But I wanted to take a moment to get some of my feelings down while everything is still sinking in.

to be cringe is to be free: a dive into KStew, JLaw, and the Weird Girl Industrial Complex

Hi cuties! I've noticed that Twilight is having its yearly Fall resurgence, and as an OG Twi-Hard from the late '00s it always makes me happy to see the series getting some love. I thought about writing a post about the Twilight Renaissance in general, but my heart compelled me to talk about something else: my teenage self's personal beef with Jennifer Lawrence, and the art of being a “weird girl.”

Bear with me.

is it a quarter-life crisis, or am I just bored?

Hello, girlies! This post is a little bit of a downer, but it's a slight follow up to my previous post about unemployment.

It's been almost a week since my last post, and I've been really struggling to figure out what to write about next. It's not 100% writer's block. I actually have two posts sitting in my drafts about topics that have been on my mind, but I just haven't had the energy to finish them.

popcorn & psychological damage: A Spoiler-Free Resident Evil (2026) Review

Hello cuties! First off, I'm so thankful there are over 30+ of y'all here! 🥹💕

My first post for October is movie review. I started Spooky Season off with a bang: I went to see Resident Evil in theaters!

Me watching Resident Evil (2026)

After about an hour and 30 minutes, the credits started to roll. I turned to my boyfriend and said, “That was a really good movie. It was definitely the best Resident Evil movie I've ever seen. I hated every moment of it.”

Let me explain!

loki, a.k.a I *finally* understood that reference

Any Marvel girlies in here?

I, like most of the world, enjoy a good superhero movie or show. This week, I finally watched the first season of Loki on Disney+ (yes, I’m very late to the game), and I have some thoughts—not just on the show, but on the culture surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general.

dear diary: what's in a name?

To quote my close personal friend Juliet Capulet:

(Fun fact: Romeo & Juliet is one of my favorite stories of all time, Shakespeare and otherwise. Maybe I'll make a post one day explaining why.)

Today, I want to talk about something that affects everyone: our names and the role they play in shaping who we are.

holes in the wall, peace in my soul (a.k.a f*ck that deposit!)

Hi besties!

First off, thank you to everyone who has commented on my page and/or followed me! I’ve only been in the blogging world for a short time, but everyone has been so sweet and kind. I’ve loved sharing a space with so many interesting people!

But I’ve realized I have a problem: in order to be a blogger, I have to, you know… blog! I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to post, but I’m aiming for at least once a week. To get some content out, I’ve decided to write about what’s been keeping me so busy lately: redecorating my apartment!

scripturient, and the fear of being perceived

Scripturient (adjective) /skrɪpˈtjʊər.i.ənt/

Having a strong, overwhelming, or compulsive desire to write.

I've had this word written in my Notes app for a few years now—I think I saw it in a book once, looked up the definition, and immediately went, "That's me!" Then I tucked it away for a rainy day. It's not raining right now, but I am waiting on a DoorDash order, so this feels like as good a time as any.
