And Just Like That, I'm a Fiancée (plus face reveal!)

Hey divas!! I have a little life update that I wasn't expecting to share today: I'M ENGAGED!

Honestly, I'm still overwhelmed and have approximately a million thoughts running around in my brain, so I don't have an in-depth blog post to share just yet. But I wanted to take a moment to get some of my feelings down while everything is still sinking in.

I truly couldn't be happier. My boyfriend fiancé (!!!) planned the sweetest, most intimate proposal at a botanical garden, followed by an amazing dinner at a fancy local restaurant. It was such a personal, thoughtful day, and to top it all off, he gave me my dream ring! We actually designed it together, and the center stone is alexandrite, my birthstone. Seeing something we dreamed up together become a part of this new chapter makes it that much more special.

We've been together for almost four and a half years, and it still amazes me that I found someone who is such a wonderful partner and loves me for exactly who I am, weird, dorky personality and all (don't worry, he's a dork too lol). Apparently, while I've been busy trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life, my boyfriend decided we should figure out the rest of it together. And now he's officially my fiancé. I don't think I've fully processed that yet!

As I navigate telling my loved ones the news, I can't help but reflect on how strange yet wonderful it feels to step into a new chapter of adulthood while still feeling like I'm figuring everything else out. But in the middle of all that uncertainty, it's such a beautiful feeling to find something that flows so naturally and feels so right.

I don't have every aspect of my life figured out, and I probably won't for a long time. But I have someone who loves me, understands me, and wants to build a life with me. There's something comforting about knowing that even when everything else feels uncertain, this part of my life feels so perfectly aligned. 

Anyway, I'm going to go stare at my ring for the next 300 business days.
